Marks and Spencer has launched three new cake jars including a Colin the Caterpillar flavour, trillionaire’s flavour as well as a raspberry ripple one. However, the arrival of the new food product divided M&S shoppers on Twitter.

The reusable and fully recyclable jar of cake costs £4 and is available to pick up right now.

The Colin the Caterpillar Cake Jar consists of rich chocolate sponge, Belgian chocolate sauce, chocolate ganache, milk and white chocolate chips and finished with a Colin the Caterpillar white chocolate face.

Raspberry ripple cake jar contains layers of madeira sponge, sweet raspberry jam, creamy vanilla buttercream and freeze-dried raspberry pieces.

The last cake jar is M&S’ trillionaire’s flavour which consists of layers of madeira sponge with salted caramel sauce, chocolate ganache, milk chocolate shortcake balls and fudge pieces.
