This isn’t the only recent recall from Tesco, the supermarket is also recalling a popular dip after egg was discovered in one batch that wasn’t declared on the label.

Tesco said: “We’ve been made aware that Tesco Tzatziki 200g, with a use by date of April 12, 2021, has been mis-packed with Tesco Sour Cream and Chive Dip 200g that contains egg which isn’t declared on the packaging.”

This could pose a potential health risk to anyone who has an intolerance or allergy to egg.

The supermarket added: “If you have an allergy to egg, please do not eat the affected product. Instead, return it to a Tesco store where a full refund will be given.”
